The second wave of coronavirus in India has made sexual healthcare increasingly difficult to access for millions of needy.
Clinics offering treatment in reproductive health have shuttered in many parts of the country, as doctors and hospitals battle shortages of oxygen, drugs and beds.
The disruption is likely to result in as many as 2.3 million unintended pregnancies and over 800,000 unsafe abortions, which incidentally, is the third leading cause
of maternal deaths in India. Not to mention worries over physical intimacy, desire discrepancies and erectile dysfunction, all of which can adversely impact one’s mental health.
At VVox Clinic, an initiative of VVox, a digital platform led by a growing team of globally renowned sexual health experts (picture above) from India, US and Singapore, we believe it’s our responsibility to address this “invisible” crisis by imparting medically accurate sexual and reproductive knowledge that can transform people’s lives.
VVox Clinic wants to hear from you what your problems are, or if you have any questions on behalf of someone who has concerns. Tell us what you want to know and we will track down the answers.
All you have to do is write to email@example.com
The identity of all those who ask questions (unless specified otherwise) will be kept confidential.
