Adam Levine has released a statement in response to a viral TikTok made and released by Instagram model Sumner Stroh.
Sumner released a video this week alleging she had an affair with Adam. She also alleged that Adam DM'd her asking if he and his pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo could consider using her name as the name for their upcoming child.
In the TikTok, Sumner said, “At the time, I was young, I was naive and, quite frankly, I feel exploited...I wasn’t in ‘the scene’ like I am now, so I was definitely very easily manipulated.”
One of the DMs she released had Adam allegedly saying, “It is truly unreal how f–king hot you are. Like it blows my mind.”
Sumner then appeared to respond, “I mean I think the same. Seeing you in person I was like … I’m f–ked.”
He then apparently responded, “You are 50 times hotter in person. And so am I hahahah.”
In another text, Adam allegedly said, “He said, ‘Ok, serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious."
"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air," Adam began in his statement, posted on Tuesday on his Instagram Story. "I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life."
He added, "In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again."
He continued, "I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."
Behati and Adam are currently expecting their 3rd child. They are also parents to daughter, Gio, 4, and daughter Dusty, 5. She once revealed how many kids they want together.
