What better way to start a Friday if not by getting some great Korean drama recs, right?!So I’m here to blabber bout my fav kdramas like always.
🪨WEIGHTLIFTING FAIRY KIM BOK JOO:A coming-of-age story about a group of college athletes who are striving hard for their dreams and finding love in the process. It centres around sports so there are a ton of competition we get to see which is exciting and aside from that it’s a fun show with awesome friendships. It’s my all time fav and I can bet anything and claim everyone will like this show.https://www.netflix.com/title/80188662?s=i&trkid=13747225
🪨STRONG GIRL BONG SOON:A woman born with superhuman strength is hired by the CEO of a gaming company, to be his bodyguard. This K-drama is best described as absurd, fictional and funny.A good mix of angst and fluff. At times while watching you’d feel like ‘how can this happen, total bs’ but it’s fiction and it’s only limited to a screen hence a nice show to watch.https://www.netflix.com/in/title/80198001?s=i&trkid=13747225&vlang=en&clip=81035263
🪨CRASH LANDING ON YOU:A South Korean heiress in North Korea and into the life of an army officer.People who haven’t watched any Korean drama might not know that South Korean writers are very fond of south-north Korea trope and if searched you can find a show with this trope from every year.BUT Crash Landing On You is different— like every show it revolves around military but it also gives an insight to North Koreans’ daily life and it’s beautiful to watch since it has given light to the fact that North Koreans can also be sweet, soft and kind-hearted. A Brilliant Show!https://www.netflix.com/in/title/81159258?s=i&trkid=13747225&vlang=en&clip=81406209
🪨LOVESTRUCK IN THE CITY:It is a contemporary romance drama similar to Modern Love and Little Things but not exactly. It depicts the real love stories of young people who’re living fiercely in Seoul. The storyline of the series is in interview format in which six people are talking about their dating life. It’s a sweet and passionate drama that I think, not to stereotype but young people will like more but give it a watch anyway.https://www.netflix.com/in/title/81340910?s=i&trkid=13747225&vlang=en&clip=81373254
I hope you like all of these k-dramas and if you do, come tell me here :>
