The 17th All Assam inter district shooting championship begins at 4th Assam Police battalion Shooting Range Kahilipara here today. Altogether around 200 shooters from various districts of Assam will participate in the tournament. Total eight events including 10 mtr pistol, 10 mtr rifle, 25 mtr sports pistol, standard pistol, 50 mtr free pistol,rifle prone event and 50 mtr 3 positions events are going on. Assam team will be formed for zonal shooting championships from this four day long tournament. Bhaba Kalita, secretary of Assam Rifle Shooting Associtation has informed us that many new players have been able to shown their talents.
