One hundred days before today, the Taliban ended the life of the Western-backed republican system, especially the United States. After a specific period, Afghanistan once again fell into the mire of religious and ethnic tyranny. One hundred days have passed since the Taliban took over again.
The Taliban's gift to the people is the re-isolation of the country, the loss of civil society, freedom of expression, the deprivation of women, and the establishment of mono-ethnic and mono-religious rule. The country's bank reserves are frozen, and hundreds of thousands of government employees are waiting to be paid. Suicide attacks, bombings, and kidnappings have increased despite the Taliban's claims to security.
Poverty, hunger, and unemployment are rampant, and this situation has forced people to emigrate and flee the country.
Nevertheless, the Taliban continue to insist on adhering to their principles and readings. The world wants to create an open political space and the participation of other political parties in the country's affairs. For this reason, no neighboring country, region, or the world has yet recognized the rule of the Taliban.
People and politicians flee the country
About three months ago today, after 20 years of war and bloodshed, the Taliban captured Kabul and most of the country's provinces without a fight and in a limited number of days. Former military commanders, political leaders, and opponents of the Taliban fled the country in various ways.
On the first day of the Taliban's arrival in Kabul, tens of thousands of people rushed to Kabul airport to leave the country. Hanging people from US military planes and dropping several of their wings was the headline of the world media. Several babies were born inside the planes.
Confiscation of the property of politicians and former government officials
In the early days of their entry into major cities, including Kabul, the Taliban seized the vehicles of government officials and prominent figures. In addition, they ransacked the homes of former officials and political leaders and confiscated government and personal property.
